Upon arriving Kota Kinabalu, the gateway city of East Malaysia and the capital city of Sabah, you will be picked up by the local tour guide and enjoy your free time in the city today. Kota Kinabalu, as a popular travel destination, is rich in tourism resources. The sunset of Tanjung Rhu Beach is known as one of the top 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world. Mt. Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia. The mangrove forest with proboscis monkeys, and the numerous outlying islands are all unmissable.

After a leisure breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel at about 0900. And then we will move to the Mari Mari Cultural Village. It will take about 25 minutes by driving. Mari Mari Cultural Village operates as a museum that displays the ethnic culture in Borneo area. It aims to share the knowledge, history, culture, and tradition of Borneo with you. In the village, you find you have been back to the times of ancient Borneo when you see the displays of unique ingenious architectures, the simulated lives as well as the ritualistic ceremonies. In the afternoon, return to the city of Kota Kinabalu. The Sabah State Mosque is definitely the architectural splendor for a visit in the city. It is majestic with the blue inlaid onion dome. Then go to visit the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion at the Puh Toh Tze Buddhist Temple, which is in a traditional Chinese style temple. The Yayasan Tower, officially known as Menara Tun Mustapha, stands 122 meters high. And then continue a visit to Sabah Museum, keep immersing yourself in the local culture. We will have a pass-by driving through the Kampung Likas and the Likas Wetland, which is a natural bird sanctuary. Then we will up to Signal Hill along the winding roads, enjoying a panoramic view of the city, the sea with dotted islands. If you are interested in the local market, we could have a stop at the buzzing Filipino market, where you could buy some souvenirs before transfer back to the hotel.

Enjoy hotel breakfast and drive for about 0.5 hours to Tamparuli Town, where you will visit Historical Wooden Shop and walk across the " Jambatan Tamparruli", a suspension bridge, which is a famous landmark in this small town. Then we will keep driving for about another 1.5 hours toward Kinabalu National Park. You will see the villages and paddy fields along the mountainous roads of the Crocker range. When you arrive at Kinabalu Park, you will find the temperature change. Walk along the trails in the botanical garden, you will have a majestic view of Mt. Kinabalu, which is the highest mountain in Malaysia, just following the New Guinea and Himalaya. Lunch is arranged in a local restaurant. Then we will drive for about 47 km toward the Poring Hot Spring, which is a natural hot spring with Japanese baths for visitors to soak and relax. You can also try the Treetop Canopy Walk (optional), to experience the height of 41 meters above the ground by walking on the suspension bridges over the tropical jungle.
Then you will be transferred back to your hotel. A wonderful trip to Kinabalu National Park is over for today.

In the morning, take a flight to Sandakan, a paradise for animal and forest adventure lovers. Upon arrival, the local guide will meet you and transfer you to check-in hotel.
In the afternoon, we will start a discovery tour in Sandakan. The 1st stop is the Observation Pavilion to have a bird-eye view of the city. Then explore the Central Market and continue the trip to St. Michael's Church, which is a colonial-style building. Then move to the Kundasang War Memorial before a transfer back to the hotel.

In the morning, we will drive to visit the famous Sepilok Orang Utan Centre, which was founded in 1964, to help the captive orang utans to learn climbing and fending for themselves in the wild. In this case, they will have a chance to return to the forest in the future. You will get a close view of the orang utans and have a chance to take photos for them in a short distance.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will keep visiting the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. Proboscis monkeys are indigenous monkeys in Borneo. After the wildlife trip for today, we will back to the hotel.

Check out from hotel in the morning, then transfer to visit the Gomantong Cave. It will take around 2 hours driving through the oil palm plantations and countryside. The Gomantong Cave is the largest bird's nest cave in Sabah and it is also home to millions of bats and swiftlets. Then keep driving for half an hour, we will reach the Kinabatangan River, which is one of the richest ecosystems in the world. Then take a short boat from Kampung Bilit to Sukau Bilit Rainforest Lodge before lunch at a lodge restaurant with a welcome drink. In the late afternoon, join in a river cruise to discover the indigenous proboscis monkeys, a variety of birds as well as other wildlife along the river. We will stay overnight at Sukau Rainforest Lodge today.

Get up in the morning the birds' singing. Then you will enjoy a morning jungle trek to Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching. It is a wonderful experience of the wilderness of Borneo. Then back to the lodge for breakfast. Your lunch is served at the lodge. Enjoy your free time until another river cruise in the late afternoon to see more wildlife along with the Sukau Kinabatangan River Bank. Dinner and overnight at River Lodge.

See goodbye to the Kinabatangan River and drive toward Danum Valley via Lahad Datu. Danum Valley Conservation Area is the home of a 130-million-year-old ancient rainforest, home to most iconic wildlife of Borneo. After lunch, we will trek through the trails to have a glimpse of the rainforest. Then we will take a night safari to watch the nocturnal animals. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

Enjoy a jungle trek in the morning to the Kadazandusun burial site at Coffin Cliff. Then continue to a view point, from which we have a panoramic view of this area. In the afternoon, keep jungle trekking or take a relaxing cruise along the Danum River. Enjoy a leisure night or take a night walk to explore the nocturnal animals.
