Tanghu Park, built in 1986, is located in Shuangliu County of Chengdu. This park got its name from the crabapple trees inside the park, for it has the most species of crabapples. Xinghua Village is situated in Fuhong Town, Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu. It is about 25 kilometers from Chengdu downtown. Shixianghu Ecological Scenic Area holds the largest Tulip Festival in Asia, with more than 80 rare varieties of tulips. Covering a large planting area of nearly 7,000 square meters, Shixianghu Ecological Scenic Area is the largest outdoor tulip garden in Asia. Tulips of various colors spread all over the park, like a rainbow across the sky, the whole picture seems like a colorful fairy tale world.
Even though the entrance fee is a bit high, what you can explore in Shixianghu Ecological Scenic Area are totally worthwhile. Shixiang Temple, Wenjing Tower, Shuxiang Lake and Xiangshan Ancient Town are main scenic sites inside the park.
Taohua Guli Scenic Spot is located in Longquanyi District of Chengdu, 19 kilometers away from Chengdu. Longquanyi started to hold Peach Blossom Festival from 1987, more and more fun activities have been added each year. During the festival, thousands of tourists will come here, for the splendid sceneries and profound peach culture in Longquanyi.
In March, the mountains will be covered by beautiful peach blossoms, and the scenery is very gorgeous. Additionally, Taohua Guli is also a famous agritainment area in Chengdu, with plenty of places for you to relax yourself and enjoy the great views.
