Qin culture has strong adaptability and vitality, which is the base of Chinese culture. The plot design of The Great Qin is very infectious. The performance takes the story of the historical figure prototype Heifu as the main line, and feels the rising process of Qin Dynasty from the perspective of small figures, and reproduces that magnificent historical chapter through delicate emotional depiction and magnificent scene setting. In the process of watching the performance, the audience accompany the struggle of Heifu and witness the glory of Qin Dynasty.
The uniqueness of The Great Qin lies not only in the extremely difficult performance requirements and scientific and technological support, but also in the profound and unique interpretation of Qin culture. After in-depth understanding of China's history and culture and on-the-spot investigation, George Tsypin finally chose the cultural relics unearthed in the Qin Dynasty and the Epang Palace in the imaginary concept as the theme image to create a movable auditorium that can accommodate 2,000 people. The audience will shuttle through the theater with a depth of 200 meters and a width of 40 meters to enjoy a fantastic visual feast.
Heifu
In The Great Qin, Heifu gradually grew from a nobody to a brave and determined warrior of Qin Dynasty. Heifu’s inspiration is from two important cultural relics of China: one is the treasure of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum of Qin Shi Huang - the kneeling figurines. More than 2,000 years have passed, but the details are still visible, with the hair, palm prints and even the needle holes on the soles of the shoes being exquisite, the pinnacle of ancient craftsmanship. The second is the family letter of Heifu unearthed in 1975. These two family letters, written on wooden slabs, are known as the oldest family letters in China. On the battlefield, Heifu and his brother wrote about their hometown and their worries about the war situation and families.
Dajiang Yi
Dajiang Yi in The Great Qin is a craftsman leader full of artistic ideals. His prototype comes from a Qin tile engraved with the words Dajiang Yi, which is also the only physical evidence with the name of the craftsman in the ruins of Apang Palace. It is an ancient quality management system in which craftsmen are responsible for their work and therefore must engrave their names.
Official Xi
In The Great Qin, Guanzhixi is a faithful executor of Legalist thought. His story was inspired by the owner of the Qin tomb, a low-level Qin Dynasty official named Xi. In the coffin, Xi lies on a large number of Qin slips, which record the laws and institutions of the Qin Dynasty, and also allow later generations to understand the real Qin Dynasty from a more microscopic perspective.
