Changshou Museum

The Bama Changshou Museum is located beside the East Sports Plaza in Bama Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Bama Changshou Museum Building is divided into two floors. The total area of the exhibition hall is 1,500 square meters. The museum mainly displays two major parts: the revolutionary history of Bama and the longevity and national culture. The national exhibition hall displays the various aspects historical materials of the Bama Yao, Zhuang and Han ethnic groups.  
 

According to changshou Museum Director Huang, the Changshou Museum was completed in October 2006. It is one of the key projects for the 50th anniversary of the county's celebration and support by the construction of the autonomous region and is the first thematic museum with the longevity culture as its main display content. It is a comprehensive cultural tourist attraction integrating tourism, shopping, entertainment and scientific research in Bama County. it was open to the public on November 8, 2007.
 

The Bama Changshou Museum mainly introduces the historical origins of the Longevity phenomenon and the longevity folk customs through pictures, audiovisual materials and expert lectures, which shows the elegant demeanour of the Bama Longevity centenarians and the longevity foods of the Bama. It provides visitors with a platform for understanding the longevity phenomenon of Bama, exploring the mysteries of longevity, reading extensively the longevity culture, and experiencing a longevity atmosphere. It meets the consumer demand for visit to Bama.The Bama Changshou Museum is dedicated to building a research base for healthy and longevity, collecting award-winning papers and books on the phenomenon of longevity in Bama for decades, bringing together the achievements of Bama Longevity Research over the past decades, energetically engaging in traditional folk secret recipes and Elderly health experience research, and promoting the continuous development of health and longevity science.
 

Longevity Township of Bama enjoys a high reputation internationally. CCTV has filmed longevity feature films in Bama 4 times and shown it in various programs on CCTV. in addition to this, The United States, Japan, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions have successively filmed Bama longevity’s as a special feature film, introducing Bama to all parts of of the world. The International Society of Natural Medicine held four conferences in Bama County to discuss the phenomenon of Bama's longevity. The Bama Yao Autonomous County, which ranks first in the world's top five longevity villages, has a high content of negative oxygen ions per cubic meter of 2,000 to 5,000, up to a maximum of 50,000, and is also known as the "natural oxygen bar".  After the Bama longevity rise to fame in the foreign countries, experts and professors from famous research institutes and tourists at home and abroad have chosen to visit Bama, most of whom are elderly people."Tourists flock here in hopes of curing their illnesses, or just to live a longer life," a caption embedded above the heads of Bama County visitors in the visual project reads. "Local residents believe the air in this cave has healing powers."

Arrival

Public transportation: You can arrive at by take bama No. 3 bus. Bama No. 3 bus starts Bama Bus station to cifu stop. The running time is 06:30 am - 17:30 pm and the One-way maximum fare is ￥1 RMB.
 

By taxi: You can also get there by taxi. Please note that do not take the private motorcycle.
 

On foot: bama changshou museum is not far away from the coach station and you can there on foot.
