Hengdian World Studios (横店影视城), also known as Hengdian Film and Television City, often referred to as China’s Hollywood, is one of the largest and most influential film and television production centers in China. Located in Hengdian Town, Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, it has become a major hub for the film and television industry, attracting both domestic and international productions.

The Palace of Emperor Qin

It is a shooting site of blockbuster films, representing the magnificent imperial palace of the Qin Empire. The Palace of Emperor Qin was built in 1997 for filming The Emperor and the Assassin by director Chen Kaige with the Xianyang Palace, the main palace of the imperial palace of the Qin Dynasty, as its prototype. It is also the shooting site of a number of films and TV series.

Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties is a shooting site of TV series set in the Qing Dynasty. Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties truthfully reproduces the government buildings, folk dwellings, shops and imperial palaces of Yenching at different times in history by referring to the architectural style of imperial palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and integrating with different architectural types covering imperial palaces, imperial gardens, mansions of princes, government offices in feudal China, Hutong and folk dwellings. Based on Riverside Scenes During the Qingming Festival, a masterpiece by painter Zhang Zeduan in the Song Dynasty, Qing Ming Shang He Tu is built based on the social background and customs of the Northern Song Dynasty.
