Korqag, Ranpu, Ngari, Tibet, China.
Quaint temple.
100km southeast from Burang, Korqag Monastery(Chinese name: 科加寺) is located on the Southern foot of Mt. Himalayas, the border area with Nepal. The mild climate and beautiful scenery make the path here a popular and traditional one to enter Tibet from Nepal.
Korqag Monastery is small and has been neglected for years, but it is charming still. Inside the monastery there is the Statue of Manjusri for which the well-known senior monk Rinqen Sambu stayed in the monastery.
