Merryland Resort, located in Linghu Lake Scenic Area in Xing’an County, Guilin City, is a large tourist base integrating sightseeing, recreation, resort and entertainment. Officially opened on December 25, 2000, Guilin Merryland Resort is the largest foreign-invested tourism project in Guangxi, covering an area of 6,000 acres. It includes 4 main projects, namely, theme park, golf club, forest resort and 5-star resort hotel.

Merryland Resort is now the first batch of 5A-level tourist scenic spots in China, the top ten scenic spots for self-driving travel brands in China, and the first batch of "National Tourism Standardization Pilot" scenic spots by the National Tourism Administration. It is a must-visit attraction for Guilin people.

Merryland Golf Club

Merryland Golf Club is located next to Linghu Lake, surrounded by winding fairways and lush greens, with an elegant environment and complete facilities. The club is equipped with Chinese restaurants, golf boutiques, coffee shops and 36 driving ranges. Guilin Merryland Golf Course is an American-style hilly course with a total area of 2,400 acres and a total of 36 holes, divided into A, B, C, and D courses. The overall plan of the golf course is in line with the USGA ’s rules for building the course.

Merryland Theme Park

The entertainment park is composed of six theme areas with different characteristics and the Mandala Garden, which are taken from the meaning of starting from China to the world, namely, Happy China Town, American West Zone, Dream World Zone, Pirate Village, Europe Zone, South Pacific Zone, and Mandala Garden.

【American West Zone】

Entering the American West Zone, you can see the western style of the 18th century American pioneering period here. The main amusement facilities are The Detonator, The Rapid Boat, Hollywood film stunt show, burger shop, Pioneer house, Sharpshooter.

【South Pacific Zone】

The style and atmosphere of the entire area are designed in the tropical style of the South Pacific island countries. The main recreational facilities in the South Pacific Zone include bungee jumping, airship surfing, laser warships, Great Barrier Reef rock climbing, and wave roller coaster.

【Happy China Town】

The architectural style of this area is full of ancient Chinese characteristics, including Great Wall walls and pavilions. The main rides in China are: wind-fire rings, tornado, shenma movie theater, merry-go-round, etc.

【Dream World Zone】

Dream World Zone is based on the theme of fantasy fairyland in western fairy tales. The buildings here are bright and colorful, the cartoons are peculiar, and the entertainment services and facilities are hidden between the cartoon castle and the forest cabins and big mushrooms, as if they bring you to a childhood dream. 【Pirate Village】

The Pirate Village is dominated by Caribbean Coastal landscape architecture. The main amusement items in this area are: Caribbean artillery, pirate ship, Treasure Island Carnival, Adventure Island, Nu Hai Zhengfeng, etc.

【Mandala Garden】

The eight sceneries of Merryland include: Linghu Lake, wind and rain bridge, Tea Garden, Yuelao pavilion, Fumantian Temple, Pinewood forest, Xiangsixia bund and Yunxiang platform.
