Yu Ke and Yu Ai
Yu Ke and Yu Ai are giant panda twins. They were born in Chongqing Zoo on July 22nd, 2022. It is the first time that the female giant panda Er Shun has bred after returning to China from Canada. Both the brother’s name Yu Ke and Yu Ai stand out from various names suggested by the netizens. They were adopted by Midea in August 2023.
Shuang Shuang, Chong Chong, Xi Xi and Qing Qing
Shuang Shuang and Chong Chong are male, and Xi Xi and Qing Qing are female. All of them were born on the same day on June 23rd, 2019 at Chongqing Zoo. Their biological mothers are Lan Xiang and Mang Zai. It is reported that the birth of 2 twins in urban zoos at home and abroad is rare. And their birth also set a new record for the breeding of giant pandas at Chongqing Zoo.
