Hangzhou Fenghuang Mosque, a famous Chinese Islamic mosque, is located on Zhongshan Middle Road (Southern Song Dynasty Royal Street), Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Due to its phoenix -shape architectural layout, it is also called Phoenix Mosque(phoenix means Fenghuang in Chinese ). Built in the Tang Dynasty, Hangzhou Fenghuang Mosque is also known as one of the four big ancient China Islamic mosques. It is the main place of Islamic religious festival activities, and also center of Hangzhou's Islamic worship.
Jiaxing Mosque is located on the south side of Tongji Bridge in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province which is a courtyard building of the southern Yangtze style. It was firstly built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty.
Ningbo Mosque is located in Xihouying Lane, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It was built during the Xianping period (998-1003) of Song dynasty and restored on the bank of the Moon Lake Hongqiao in 1699. The Ningbo Ethnic Liaison Committee is set in the mosque.
