My wife had travelled to China before but it was my first time. We had a limit of 2 weeks and Top China Travel's 13-day Dreamy Plateau ticked the box for duration and interesting stops, including Beijing, Xian (Terracota Army), Lhasa (Tibet), Chengdu (pandas!) and Shanghai. This was a private tour, that is to say that for each destination we were met by a guide, driver and car at each arrival airport/station and they were ours exclusively for the duration of our stay in that location. The tour was well organised by Janet Chan at TCT and we had the option of hooking up with a small group tour for the Tibet stop and saving about $200 on the overall cost, which we elected to do. The guides were all knowledgeable and very good English speakers. Drivers seemed to err on the side of safety (and that is fine by me!) and cars were all in excellent condition. As mentioned, this is a private tour so, although there is only 2 or 3 days per location, with a dedicated guide and car, a lot can be fitted into that time. In summary, the tour delivered what we wanted. I may never get back to China but I have seen as many of the sights I could have hoped for in the time I had available. And did so in some comfort. If this tour features the sights that you want to see and it fits your budget I would thoroughly recommend it.

I contacted TCT TopChinaTravel Guellin for my trip to china, the travel consultant "Raylene" is very proffesional, she make every things easy and possible, also.she helps us to prepare a rich and comprehensive program. Also it is very reactive whatever by mail or by other means of communication.
The welcome at the airport was perfect as all visits mentioned in our trip programme. Their prices are very competitive too. I strongly recommend to choose this agency.

I highly recommend Top China Travel (TCT) in particular Janet Chan for her excellent professional services in organising our recent tour in China. My wife and I did not want a group tour because we wanted greater flexibility so Janet put together a tour that took in all the major sight seeing cities. It was very well organised, the accommodation was great e.g. excellent locations, English speaking and delicious buffet breakfasts and close to all the major sights that will leave us with lasting memories. Her choice of guides was very good, they also spoke excellent English and had good personalities and were all very knowledgeable, the drivers were also very good and drove safely. In summary we believe that TCT provided a quality value added service and would recommend TCT to anyone looking for a reliable Chinese agency for organising their travels. As a partner for few events in China in a different localisation and with different programs, the TCT represented by Mrs Janet Chan, showed unexpected involvement on all details. Helpful hints, flexibility and many other features ( relations with local subcontractors ) made our business on highest leavel with uncommon feedback....

We found TCT through a random internet search when looking for a local Chinese travel agency to help us plan our 2-week trip to China. We had a basic idea of what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go and Janet (our efficient and friendly TCT agent) put together a great itinerary for us that started in Beijing and ended in Hong Kong. We corresponded with her exclusively over e-mail and her responses were always punctual and on-point. The itinerary was very reasonably priced and TCT was able to organize everything from local hotel stays, restaurant meals, airport transfers, internal train and plane tickets and excursions in each city (e.g. great wall, etc.) As well, we were a group of 4 (myself, my husband and our in-laws) and our tours and transfers were almost always exclusively private. The guides in each city were knowledgeable and spoke decent English. Overall, we were very satisfied with TCT's services. I would recommend TCT if you are looking for a reliable one-stop shop to organize your China travels from start to end.

We are 2 older couples from Israel and returned 10 days ago from China. I think it was one of my most impressionable foreign travels, if not the best. China is amazing and the tour was impeccably organized and executed by TCT. They did a great planning job, provided good advice in finalizing the itinerary, the whole tour was extraordinarily punctual , hotels were great, the guides knowledgeable and very friendly, even the Chinese lunches included in the tour that we intended to pass on, turned out, most of them , as interesting and definitely worth tasting. China is probably one of the few places one can afford a private tour without being a millionaire, and I can warmly recommend TCT as your tour organizer. Regev and Grunfeld families, Israel
