It was very well planned trip by TCT. All the arrangements like hotel stay, pick up drop were perfect. The tour I had for Xian was fun, our group also had a English speaking guide which was the best...The other day I had a private tour of Xian city with a guide..the guide was humble, polite and he showed me most beautiful places across the city and also TCT arranged awesome yummy Chinese lunch for me!!! The consultant I got from TCT was simply the best...she answered almost all of my questions very well...I bothered her every now and then but she always helped me to clear all my doubts.. Overall an awesome experience with TCT...looking forward for other trips with them.

I would highly recommend TCT to anyone. We did a 2 week private (Beijing, Xian, Lhasa, Chengdu & Shanghai) tour with them and from the moment we arrived we felt like we were part of the family. Every guide was attentive, informative and an absolute pleasant to travel with. Special thanks to Rebecca for organising our itinerary and also a special mention to Tony, our guide in Beijing.

We were a bit nervous about using a company that none of our friends had used and therefore had no personal recommendation, but they were amazing. The hotels were great, what we saw was amazing and our private tour guide took us to the places we really wanted to visit. We had 2 days in Beijing and wished we had longer. There is so much history there and our guide, Jennifer, was so knowledgeable. She is a history graduate so knew her history. The Great Wall was as great as you can image it. Our guide took us to the Mutianyu area of the wall where there weren't too many tourists and if you walked a couple of miles or so you can get away from them so easily, especially early in the tourist season. I do wish we had a longer time on the wall but it was so much fun coming down from the wall on a toboggan slide! At Xi'an, where we had 2 days, our guide took us to meet one of the farmers who discovered the terra-cotta army and that made that visit even more special. Old Xi'an is also fascinating and worth walking around the wall or taking a bike ride on it. We didn't have as much time in Shanghai, so only really saw the Bund area. We went up the Shanghai World Financial Center but when we got to the top, It was in the clouds so couldn't see much, though when we went down a level the clouds had lifted and the view was amazing. We did do a night river cruise on the Huangpu river which was our favorite thing to do. Top China Travel really do know how to pack as much into your trip as possible. Our train or plane transfers were in the evening so we had the day to visit and our guides really did help us with everything we needed. Our drivers provided bottled water in their cars, and the driver in Chengdu even provided Wifi in his car. In Shanghai we ended up with 3 guides and our driver was a smoker and even though he didn't smoke while we were in his car, it really smelled of smoke, but that wasn't the case at the other places. Vicky was our tour consultant and we were able to meet her in Guilin which was so nice. She really did answer any questions we had and was able to upgrade us to a better room in Guilin as our first room was way too warm. Not only did she make sure that we had a great experience in her country but also helped us with getting our visas. We had an amazing experience and have recommended Top China Travel to our family and friends.

I can’t begin to tell you of our wonderful trip abroad. On behalf of Elayne,Cynthia and myself thank you for our “trip of a lifetime”. You were most responsive in communicating all the planning that went into the trip. Every single detail that you planned went exactly as expected. Not a single problem. Your guides were terrific. Each spoke English and was quite knowledgeable about everything we saw and inquired about. Kurt in Beijing and Chris in Shanghai were great. Especially exceptional was Alex Fong in Hong Kong. He is not only knowledgeable and personable, but so caring and kind to me as I was somewhat limited and walking with a cane. (Please tell him the “3 girls” really appreciated him.) Each means of transportation was exceptional. Each hotel was most comfortable with great services. Each tour was well planned. We will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone we know planning a trip to China. Roslyn Hamada

I was planning a trip to China with my mom and 2 kids. Had received a few quotes from various people, Joyce being one of them. After shortlisting, I decided to go with Joyce from TCT & that's the best choice I made which made my trip super nice and very memorable. Joyce is very nice, understanding, patient, always replied to my emails promptly and fully answered anything and everything I asked her. Eventually we both came up with a 12 day itenary covering 4 places - Shanghai, Xi'an, Harbin & Beijing. She had looked into every single detail to make sure all my needs were met. We are an Indian vegetarian family. :) Every 2nd day, there was a change in my idea and I used to write it down to her and she responded very well to everything :) So, there were English speaking guides and drivers for us during the trip. Every single one of them is just awesome and very prompt. A special mention to my guides Mulan - Shanghai, Miki - Xi'an, Gloria - Harbin, Emily - Beijing. Not to forget the drivers. Such helpful, friendly, professional, punctual, prompt and efficient people. The entire trip was so smooth. Ticketing, checking in at hotels, taking us to Indian restaurants, even checking us in at the airports no time was wasted and everything just went right. We covered a lot of places in all the cities. Had the best of weather (Harbin was -21) and it even snowed in Xi'an. The great wall is just grand :) At Shanghai, there was a little confusion and my ATM card got stuck at the bank machine. My guide Mulan did all she could to help me out. She spoke to the officers, tried to help and then when we were looking for other ATMs she walked with me all they way just to help me out. After we finished shopping, we forgot one of our packets at the market, Mulan helped it get delivered at Beijing for us. That's how sweet she is. Similarly, Gloria at Harbin was equally amazing. She helped us so much in that freezing weather - she even provided the kids with warmers and helped us click pictures when our hands were numb with cold & she made sure the kids had a gala time. Thanks girls. All tours were very professionally arranged. So much so that we had to prepone our trip by 2 days and when I mentioned this to Joyce, she immediately spoke to the agency and even arranged for a refund of the places we did not visit. Very accommodating, I must say. I would like to emphasise that without TCT, we would not have enjoyed our trip at all. It is my most memorable trip ever. Thank you again Joyce :) Had a very satisfying experience. Looking forward for more trip through TCT

After days of walking around visiting different places in China we came to Guilin. It is such a picturesque town! Top China Travel lived up to its name-their arrangement was really top class! Raylene at TopChina was wonderful-right from chalking out our entire itinerary, making changes as we wanted, booking flights/trains/hotels/transport...everything was smooth as the famed china silk! Our guide in Guilin was well informed & friendly & we had a very relaxing day on the Li river cruise. The scenery is amazing, the food on the boat is pretty good & we spent the afternoon strolling around Yangshuo. Very happy with all the arrangements!

Very satisfied with my recent Beijing>XIAN> Shanghai tour with Top China Travel. I wanted to have the services of a tour to navigate China given the language and short visit. From the inception Joyce my tour coordinator was very helpful and responded promptly to my many questions and clarifications. All aspects of the tour and options were very well explained and communicated. Guides were very knowledgeable and communicated with no issues in English. They were prompt, informative, helpful and Jolly which made the experience more pleasant. All aspects of the trips including internal train and flights were well planned and orchestrated so there was never any concerns and confusion at the sites and going on to the next destination. Guides were also helpful in suggesting venues for Dinner and currency exchanges, souvenir shops etc. Special call out to Ocean in Beijing who really goes all out to ensure you have an enjoyable and positive experience. Being an avid traveller, I can certainly recommend Top China Travel.

We recently did a 14 day tour of China organised by Top China Travel. The trip was organised at the last minute as a result of a previous tour with another company being cancelled. There were four of us, all over 65, who travelled together. We were extremely impressed with the tour. It was well organised, well presented and communication was very effective throughout. Much of the tour’s success can be attributed to the enthusiasm, professionalism and good communication of Rebecca Wei our contact at Top China Travel. Rebecca’s knowledge of travel options and matching our needs to the arrangements was extremely valuable. Our tour involved Beijing-Xi'an-Guilin-Chongqing-Yangtze River Cruise-Yichang-Shanghai. Our tour guide for 4 days in Beijing was Quee Na, ably supported by our driver Mr I. They both went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, exciting and educational. We really appreciated their smiling welcoming faces and safe, punctual and flexible tours. Quee Na’s knowledge of the Beijing area was outstanding providing us with plenty of great advice for eating places, shopping etc. The visits to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall and the Summer Palace were all highlights. At the Great Wall we travelled up the hill on the chairlift walked 4 towers up and back and then 2 of us took the toboggan down- great fun at our age. We stayed at the Sunworld Hotel Beijing which is in a great location close Tiananmen Square and Shopping and clean comfortable rooms. Quee Na’s insight into the local area was very helpful. We travelled to Xian by fast train, averaging approx. 295 kms per hour. Very comfortable and smooth ride. On the train it is difficult to get your luggage close to you if you have large cases but Quee Na was able to find us a safe place to store. We stayed at Grand Noble Hotel Xi'an, once again well located and clean and comfortable. We did all the usual tourist things in Xian but one of the highlights was doing tai chi on the City Wall with a professional Tai Chi Master. We then travelled to Guilin by plane. Our tour guide in Guilin was Ann, who is outstanding. She has incredible energy levels, great knowledge of the local area and China as a whole and was great at tailoring activities to our needs. She was ably supported by our driver Mr Wong. We really enjoyed Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area (Dragon's Back), including a cable car ride. These terraces are built into the hillsides. We also went Li River Cruise (about 4 hours from Guilin to Yangshuo. Impressive scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. We stayed in Yangshuo for dinner to enable us to see The Show of Impression Liusanjie. This was organised by Ann and is highly recommended as an optional activity in Yangshuo. We stayed at Lijiang Waterfall Hotel. Once again a great location and providing 5 star rooms and service. While in Guilin we had an opportunity to meet Rebecca Wei who is based there who made us feel very welcome and double-checked to make sure all our needs were being met. We then travelled by fast train from Guilin to Chongqing. Ann made sure we were well organised and punctual for the train and sent us off with a huge smile. The Yangtze River cruise boat departs from Chongqing. We were on the President No.7 ship which holds up to 500 passengers; approximately 80% were Chinese with the rest quite a mix from around the world. The River Cruises in China are a little different to Europe, pithed more at economy class but the ship was clean, service was good, food was fine and the scenery through the 3 gorges awesome. We didn’t do the optional tours as we needed a couple of hours free to rest up after such a hectic time to date. The three gorges dam tour at the end was extremely interesting We flew from Yichang to Shanghai. Our base was the Sunrise on the Bund hotel. Probably the best hotel overall on the tour. Our guide in Shanghai was Leo. He is energetic, passionate and we all quickly became friends. Our driver was Mr Wong who beyond expectations to ensure our travels were safe and enjoyable, including making sure we got to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Overall a great trip, very good value for money and we would have no hesitation in recommending Top China Travel to anybody considering a China Tour.

My wife and I booked a private tour with Top China Travel for 6 days , From the outset the help we got from TCT was first class and Joyce our representative in China answered all our questions and tailored the tour accordingly . On arrival at Beijing airport the guide Venus and driver Mr Howe were there to meet us and take us to our very comfortable hotel which TCT had arranged. The second day we visited the Great Wall which was fantastic. Neil the guide for this trip was knowledgeable and very informative and later in the day we wandered around the beautiful Summer Palace at leisure. The Forbidden City with Venus our lovely guide was incredible as was meeting local people in the Hutong and market. A trip to Xi An to see the Terracotta Warriers taking the bullet train from Beijing was incredible travelling at 306 kilometres an hour. Comfortable and spotless taking just 4hr 20min to cover 1,200 Kms . Again when we arrived in Xi An station our guide Vincy and the driver Mr Toa were there to meet us and take us to our hotel. The next morning our car driver and guide took us to the Buddhist Pagoda in Xi An the first to be built in China, Very Interesting and so peaceful. The terracotta warriors were incredible, a massive site with five pits. We cannot thank Top China Tours enough for helping us to have an experience of a life time and we recommend them unreservedly. My husband and I just returned from a vacation to China. We visited Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangtze and Shanghai through Top China Travel (TCT). Yocky from TCT was our travel agent. She was excellent and prompt in answering our questions and help us tremendously in getting our visas. We were pleasantly surprised when she was there along with Lizzie our tour guide to greet us at Guilin airport. We really enjoyed her and Lizzie's company and their in depth knowledge of the city. All the hotels in each of the city we stayed were elegant and meals were delicious with a taste of local flavor. We can't say enough about Yocky and all the tour guides, Jennifer in Beijing, John in Xian, Lizzie in Guilin, & Chris in Shanghai. They were all top notch with their friendly attitudes, professionalism, attention to detail and their passion in the country's culture. We had a great time in China thanks to Top China Travel and their expert tour guides. I would highly recommend anyone interested in planning a vacation in China to use TCT as their agency of choice. Thanks to TCT for a most enjoyable and memorable vacation. AL
