Arrive in Xiamen, the beautiful costal city in South-east China, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to hotel. Tour can enjoy a leisurely walk at Zhongshan Road Pedestrian on your own.
 

Zhongshan Road Pedestrian is the busiest street in Xiamen City, with many architectural styles showcasing this bustling city on the sea. There are hundreds of department stores, restaurants, and theaters on both sides of the street dazzling locals and tourists with the endless array of beautiful commodities. 

The 8th Market of Xiamen

After breakfast, start your one day city tour to Gulangyu Island- the must visit spots in Xiamen, a charming island with amazing view, South Putuo Temple--the temple backs on to a group of exquisite peaks and is adjacent to Xiamen University, Xiamen University--The university embraces some scenic spots, such as Lotus Lake and Lover Valley Reservoir, with a tranquil and romantic atmosphere as well as Hulishan Fort after lunch.

Gulangyu Island

In the morning, check out and start our trip to Zhangzhou, a renown historical and cultural city, famous for the well-preserved Hakka Tulou buildings in Yongding county and Nanjing county. Visit the Hakka Tulou in Yongding, which is the symbol of Fujian Province. You will visit the Chuxi Earthen Buildings Cluster, including three massive round buildings and one square building. Later take a trip to the Hongkeng Earthen Buildings, the biggest concentration of these Hakka marvels.

After that, we will move to Yunshuiyao Old Town, known as The Knot Town had obtained its fame through a popular Chinese movie called Yun Shui Yao which had won the Best Film in the 2007 Golden Rooster Awards. Yun Shui Yao literally means "The Song of the Clouds and Waters", mainly elaborates a loving story in 1960s in old times of China.

Yongding Hakka Tulou

In the morning, we have to say goodbye to Yunshuiyao Old Town, and travel to Anxi County — China's 'tea capital' in about 2 hours. Anxi is famous for Tieguanyin tea, which is the best Oolong tea in China. We will have a visit to an exclusive tea farm in Anxi, learning about the process of making Tieguanyin tea, making the tea with your own hands. 

After that, we will keep driving to Quanzhou City. After the hotel check-in, you can stroll around West Street in the late afternoon on your own, hunting for the delicious Quanzhou food.

Anxi Oolong Tea

As the beginning of Maritime Silk Road, Quanzhou is ancient city, combing different cultures and regions. After breakfast, we will go to visit Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum where you will learn about the glorious ocean culture of the city. Then move to Kaiyuan Temple and Qingjing Mosque, to witness the cultural exchange between China and other Asian countries.

Xunpu Fishing Village, near downtown Quanzhou in southeast China’s Fujian Province, is widely believed to be a starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road leading to Africa. We will appreciate the exquisite art of oyster shell houses and Xunpu women's elaborate hairdos there. Then visit Luoyang Bridge, China's earliest stone bridge built in the seaport. Its construction stimulated the flourishing of Maritime Silk Road trade in Quanzhou. 

Kaiyuan Temple

After breakfast, check out from hotel and we will move to visit Chongwu Ancient Town, the most intact seaside granite town existed in China.

Hui'an Dazha Fishing Village is the birthplaces and home to the famous Hui'an women, who are are best known for their unique clothing. The most striking feature of Hui'an women's clothing is the "short jacket leaving the navel uncovered" The most impressive part of Hui'an women's clothing is the bamboo hat, which is bright yellow in color. And the scarf is the most unique part, with each scarf being square in shape and having patterns like white flowers against a blue or green background, or green flowers against a white background. In the village, you will have a chance to wear their traditional clothes and take pictures.

Then we will drive to Putian for overnight today. 

Chongwu Ancient Town and Hui'an Woman

In the morning, we will go to Wenjia Pier and take a ferry (about 15 minutes) to Meizhou Island, which is famous for the clean and clear sea water, beautiful island scenery, lots of beaches, wondrous stones etc., and is known as the "Mecca of the East". On the island, we will visit the world's largest Mazu Palace Complex (Holy Will's Gate, Prince Hall, Tianhou Temple, Chaotian Pavilion, Ascension Tower, etc.), as well as Mazu Park (incl. Mazu's Stone Statue.). Then we will take the ferry back to Putian. Visit Guanghua Temple at Nanshan, which is one of the famous temples in Fujian Province. 

Meizhou Island

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Pingtan
 

Check out from hotel in the morning, and drive to visit South Shaolin Temple, which is the earliest branch temple of the northern Shaolin in the south. It is also the birthplace of Southern Boxing (Nanquan). You will visit the renown Houhuang Village, which is known as "Nanyang style, dream hometown", in which there are many residences of hundred years history for overseas Chinese preserved. The architecture building-style is influenced by the architectures of South Pacific Areas, and the foreign religions, etc. Houhuang Village is also "a national civilized village and town", "the most beautiful village in China", and "a provincial ecological leisure village". Visit Zhiqiu Lake, Nostalgia Square, Theater Pavilion, Simu (Four Eyes) Well, North Watchtower and other attractions.

After that, we will drive forward Pingtan, also called Landao Island, is a municipal county of Fuzhou, provincial capital of Fujian. Located off the eastern coast of the province, Pingtan is made up of 126 islands with Haitan the largest island.

South Shaolin Temple

Accommodation: In Fuzhou
 

In the morning, we start to explore Pingtan county. Visit Tannan Bay, which is located at the Southeast part of Pingtan, enjoying the wonderful sea view. Then move to Houyan Island, which is the closest place on the mainland to Taiwan, only 68 nautical miles, so the scenic area is named "68 nautical miles scenic spot." The sea, the reef, the lighthouse, the sunsets are all so beautiful, worth a visit.

Then visit Haitan Old Town, drive along the Huandao Road and visit Beigang Village. Beigang Village was founded in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, located in the northeast corner of Pingtan, backed by Junshan Mountain, facing the sea, beautiful mountains and waters. Here have original natural scenery resources such as mountains, stones, fields, and seas. Beigang Village has preserved a complete traditional stone architectural style, with a total of 241 stone houses.

Drive back to Fuzhou and stay overnight. 

Houyan Island - The nearest spot to Taiwan
