Arrive in Guangzhou, you will be met at the airport & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. As a city of historic and cultural significance, it is the largest industrial and commercial city and the largest important and export port in South China.

Enjoy a leisure breakfast in your hotel, and have leisurely walk in Yuexiu Park, the largest city park in Guangzhou. We will see the Five Rams Statue in the park, from which you will savor the interesting legendary story of the five rams and know why Guangzhou is called the “City of Rams”.
Continue to stroll to appreciate a five-storey ancient structure in red - Zhenhai Tower, from which to have a brief learning about Guangzhou’s over 2000 years’ history. Climb up the tower to get a bird’s-eye view of Guangzhou City. Then step to Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, located in the original site of Sun Yat-sen's Presidential Office on the south slope of Yuexiu Hill.
Yuexiu Park
The next stop is the Temple of Chen Family, known as Chen Clan Academy, was built between 1890 and 1894 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing dynasty. The exquisite decoration makes it a treasure of Lingnan style architecture.
In the afternoon, visit Guangdong Provincial Museum, which is regarded as the treasure of Lingnan painting and calligraphy, containing 166,000 items, including calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, woodcarvings, and gemstones. Then move to Huacheng Square, which is the new axis square of Guangzhou, from which we will have a good view of the new landmark of Guangzhou --- the amazing Guangzhou Tower, which is now the tallest tower in China, and just second to Tokyo Skytree Tower in the world. A traditional Canton flavor lunch is arranged at a local restaurant for you.

Evening Optional activity: Enjoy the fascinating Pearl River night cruise (70 minutes) sailing along the mother river of Guangzhou people and soak in the wonderful sightseeing of lights and neon of historical architectures and new modern towering buildings to feel the pulse of this developed city. You won’t miss the Canton Tower during the cruise.

After breakfast, we will set off for Jiangmen (about 1.5 hours drive) to visit Chen Pi Village, which mainly display Xinhui Chen Pi(dried orange peel) culture, and provides tourists with a variety of tourism experiences such as the legendary origin of Chen Pi, Chen Pi Time Tunnel, Little Bird Paradise Broadcasting Hall, Chen Pi Fragrance District, Wuyi Cultural Interaction Hall, etc. in the Chen Pi Cultural Experience Hall. It vividly interprets the Xinhui Chen Pi culture with sound, optoelectronic, and other scientific and technological means.
Taste the famous local Chen Pi banquet for lunch, and then go to 33 Street, one of the filming locations of the television drama "The Knockout"---《狂飙》 in Chinese, where we could check in the long beach historical and cultural district and appreciate the culture of overseas Chinese businessmen. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. Lined with shops on both sides of Xuding Street, it has witnessed the vicissitudes and glorious prosperity of Jiangmen for hundreds of years, and is a symbol of the city's history, economic and cultural development.

In the morning, pick up from the downtown of Guangzhou city and drive for about 2 hours to Kaiping. At first, we will visit Chikan Ancient Town, with a history of 350 years. It was once one of the most prosperous towns in western Guangdong, with a reputation as a famous town in Lingnan, a century-old commercial port and hometown of overseas Chinese. A large number of commercial arcades built in the 20th century stretch for several miles. The vicissitudes of life and cobblestone streets, mottled and empty window grilles, and elegantly carved gray sculptures form the unique style of the ancient town.
Chikan Old Town
Kaiping Diaolou and Villages feature the Diaolou, multi-storeyed defensive village houses in Kaiping, which display a complex and flamboyant fusion of Chinese and Western structural and decorative forms. There are 4 Diaolou groups in Kaiping. There are 9 Diaolou and 6 Lu (Western-style villas) in Zili Village. The earliest Longshenglou was built in the eighth year of the Republic of China (1919), and the latest Zhanlu was built in the thirty-seventh year of the Republic of China (1948). Among them, the most exquisite is the 6-story Mingshilou.
Backed by the majestic Baizu Mountain, Maxianglong Village faces the clear Tanjiang River. It was built by the Huang and Guan families in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. There are more than 100 traditional dwellings, Diaolou and cottage-style villas in the village, scattered among ancient forests and bamboos. During a stroll, there are verdant bamboos, shaded trees, birds and flowers, and the scenery is charming, just like a fairyland on earth.
In the late afternoon, we will drive for about 2 hours to Shunde, Foshan for overnight.
Kaiping Diaolou

Take an authentic Cantonese morning tea with dim sum breakfast at a time-honored local restaurant as a Shunde local.
Then visit the well-known Qinghui Garden- One of the four famous gardens in Guangdong and a representative work of Lingnan Garden. At noon time, we will walk around Daling Huagai Road, looking for local gourmet, such as stewed milk beancurd, various local snacks, rice porridge hot pot, etc.
In the afternoon, visit Foshan Ancestral Temple, which is a complex of Lingnan culture museum, built during the Northern Song Dynasty (1078-1085). In addition to the traditional Lingnan architectural decoration and builidings, the most attractive is the exhibition on Foshan martial arts. The Ip Wen Tong and Wong Fei-hung Memorial Museum houses the biographical materials of two martial arts masters, etc., attracting many martial arts fans to visit. Here we will have chance to watch lion dance and a martial arts performance. Learn lion dance from a local master, who will teach the basic lion dance technique, which is a good chance to experience China and Canton culture.
Then drive back to the downtown of Guangzhou, finish your colorful trip.
