Chongqing Tourism

Chongqing is China's famous historical and cultural city. Its Ba cultures, Three Gorges culture, The Three Kingdoms culture, modern urban civilization make Chongqing feature in extremely rich cultural tourism resources. Also, Chongqing has the unique geographical conditions and the collecting of the mountains, water, forestry, spring, waterfall, hole, gorge; and the most outstanding peculiar natural tourism resource is canyon scenery.

The Fengdu Ghost City here is a representative of the paleolithic sites; the Ba Civilization and Well Salt Culture are representatives of the neolithic cultural sites; the Han Dynasty Tombs and White Emperor City are representatives of the Three Kingdoms culture relics; the Dazu Rock Carvings is the representative of the Tang and Song dynasties religious cultural relics. Also, Chongqing has many landmark buildings, such as the Three Gorges Museum, Chaotianmen Square and the People Square.
