More than 1 p.m. we arrived in
Wuwei,
Gansu province. Located in northwestern Gansu province,
Zhangye is 47 kilometers far from
Lanzhou city. The weather is a bit hot, so we began to experience the northwest climate change with local characteristics: wearing cotton-padded jacket in the morning, wearing veil at noon, and eating watermelon around the stove.
Our train basically arrived at our destination Zhangye on time. The station is not big, the platform is small, and after going out of the station we saw the driver come for picking up us. It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon; driver took us directly to the local famous scenic spot--
Zhangye Danxia Landform Park.
We came to the colorful danxia landform scenic area of gate. The gate is not spectacular, our bus parked in the parking lot, all staff must take scenic sightseeing car. When we run for a while by the sightseeing car, after a few turn, all of us were shocked by the immediate landscape. It was spectacular and really amazing.
Mountain here, road here, everything here was so brilliant, the most striking was the color of the landscape, especially in the evening time, and it changed more. A layer of yellow, a layer of red, a layer of green, a layer of grey, a layer of earthly yellow, they were distinct, and the line twisted and turned. What made it magic was that it was China's the most intact development, the largest and one of the most abundant landscape modeling, color of hilly was in riotous profusion, the area size was the largest in the country.
Here the danxia color was gorgeous with great momentums, strange shape, and it was deep and remote with high ornamental value, scientific value and tourist value. Grand and magnificent, uncanny workmanship, these adjectives appeared so dim and blank to describe the landscape here. It was rewarded as one of the six fantastic landscapes in China together with
Jiuzhaigou,
Huanglong, Yehliu of Taiwan, Penghu islands, Tuoermu Glacier of Tianshan. The colorful Zhangye Danxia landscape had colorful spectacle, which made it became the main film shooting place of Three-gun. All of this was enough to show how the landscape here was unique and attractive.
We followed the scenic sightseeing car, visited a scenic spot by a scenic spot, but what a little regretted was that the weather was a bit foggy, if it's sunny it would be perfect.
