Itinerary: Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Shanghai
Dear Tina and Sophie,
The tour was wonderful. All of the guides were great and very knowledgeable of the attractions.
The hotels and food were exceptional. And with the exception of a short delay in getting picked up at the Beijing airport, all of the guides picking us up at the Airport/train stations were waiting for us and easily identified.
And when they took us back to each Airport or train station, they helped us in getting checked in and made sure we were set for our next flight.
We knew since it was the week of the National Holiday the sites would be crowded, but our guides took us through easily and with little or no waiting.
Tommy was the guide in Beijing and was great at getting us through the crowds and explaining each attraction.
Our tour guide named Sophie in Xi'an was great and when she picked us up at the train station she offered a suggestion of a dinner show in Xi'an that specialized in Dumplings and had a show about Tang Dynasty history. The show was amazing and food was great. Well worth the money.
And our guide on the trip on the Li River from Guilin to Yongshou offered and extension to take a Bamboo Raft ride down the Yulong River. That turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip and well worth the money.
Each city we visited offered and unique China experience.

Guilin - Beautiful Scenery
Shanghai - Modern City with a western feel.
I was very impressed with the all of the tours and the history and beauty of China.
We only wished we could have stayed longer in each city.
Thank you so much, I know that scheduling tours during the National holiday was a challenge, but
we were very pleased with our trip. Also, thank you for our gifts we recieved in Guilin.
