Hi There

Our trip to China was very good. The hotel rooms were great especially the rooms in Xi‘an and Shanghai because they were both up grades! Real nice. The itinerary was just right. We saw lots and because it was off season we were not bothered by crowds. We got pictures of the Great Wall without people in them which is a bonus. We did take in the Chinese Opera which is much over rated. We also went to see "The Legend of Kong Fu" which was excellent. The chinese food was just OK. We thought that the chinese food cooked by Chinese people in our hometown in Canada was much better. The breakfasts at the hotels were wonderful.

The English of the guide in Xi‘an was not that clear. He also spoke very fast which added to the difficulty in understanding him. The guides in Beijing and Shanghai were excellent plus very, very friendly and accommodating.

The drivers were on time and accommodating. The driver in Beijing was the greatest. Even though he spoke only chinese, the guide translated for him and he was a lot of fun!

Overall it was a great trip. Everything went exactly as was planned. We even learned enough chinese from our guides in Beijing and Shanghai to tell the street vendors we had no need for what it was they were selling!
