Guangdong Province, as a forefront of China's reform and opening-up, has always been a popular destination for foreign tourists. To further promote tourism and economic development, the Chinese government implemented the 144-hour (6 days) visa-free policy for foreign tourist groups entering Guangdong from Hong Kong and Macau. This policy simplifies visa procedures, reduces travel costs, and provides more options for surrounding tours for foreign tourists in Hong Kong and Macau.

  4. Arrange your trip through the travel agency, ensuring that your activities fall within the specified cities.

Compared with the 144-Hour Transit Visa-Free Policy in Guangdong

Foreign tourists who want to enter Guangdong without a visa have two options: the 144-hour visa-free policy for foreign tourist groups entering Guangdong through Hong Kong and Macau travel agencies, and the 144-hour transit visa-free policy in Guangdong. Although both policies allow visa-free entry to Guangdong, they differ in terms of implementation conditions, applicable scope, and passport requirements.
