Hiking Route: Huanghuacheng (Xishuiyu) Great Wall

Huanghuacheng Great Wall is the unique part which is built in water. So it is also called Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall (黄花城水长城). The hiking level of this part is easy. A well renovated part for all generations to hike.

About Huanghuacheng and Xishuiyu: Xishuiyu (西水峪) scenic area is located in Huanghuacheng Great Wall and now is renamed as Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall Scenic Area (黄花城水长城风景区)

Begin to hiking: the scenery of Huanghuacheng Great Wall

The Huanghuacheng Great Wall section characters: steep slopes made by large bricks, some parts with steps are steeper, the steps are narrow with only 10cm width, so better to be careful when climbing this part.

A road cuts the Great Wall



A tower on the Great Wall: the room inside the tower is large. Inside the tower, we find 9 foreigners camping there. There are 4 - 5 tents, a bonfire, and a song is playing. They are enjoying their breakfast leisurely.
