Where is Huanguoshu Waterfall

Address: Huanguoshu Town, Zhenning County, Anshun City 561022, Guizhou Province, China

Huangguoshu Waterfall is located on the Baishui River in Anshun City, Guizhou Province. It is 45 kilometers (28 miles) southwest of Anshun city and 150 kilometers from the downtown of Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province. It is famous at home and abroad for the magnificent main falls and the densely distributed waterfall cluster. It is also known as "the first waterfall in China".

How to Get to Huangguoshu Waterfall from Guiyang

By train
As Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in Anshun City, one can take train from Guiyang Railway Station to Anshun Railway Station first. After get off the train at Anshun Railway Station, you can take a taxi or catch Bus No.1 or 2 to arrive at Anshun South Passenger Bus Station, where there is Tourist Express leaving for Huangguoshu Waterfall. The terminal is the gate of waterfall scenic area. Tourist Express at Anshun South Passenger Bus Station departs every 15 minutes from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm every day. 

By bus

►Option 1
Visitors can catch a bus/coach at Jinyang Bus Station (located at 331 Jinyang South Raod, Jinyang Xin District, Guiyang). The buses from here will arrive at the gate of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area directly. It takes 2 hours to get to Huangguoshu Waterfalls scenic along the Guiyang-Huangguoshu Highroad. It departs every 45 minutes from 07:40 to 12:45.

By the bus, the buses also can be caught at Ti Yu GUan Bus Terminal (located at 318 Zhunyi Road, Yungang District, Guiyang).

►Option 2
You can take a bus at Guiyang Jinyang Bus Station to Anshun first, and then change to a minibus to Huangguoshu. The whole journey takes about 2 hours.

►The best time for travelers to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall is in July and August, during which it is the rainy season, and the waterfall is greater than that of the other months.
