Travel from Haikou to Sanya

Situated on the northern coast of Hainan, by the mouth of the Nandu River, Haikoy is the capital and most populous city of Hainan province, the People's Republic of China.

As the only tropical city across the coastline, Sanya is the southernmost city on Hainan Island, southeast China. It is about 272 km away from Haikou city. traveling from Haikou to Sanya is quite easy nowdays with the opening of high-speed trains between them. Also, you can travel by coach or car rental.

By High-speed Trains

There are about 33 pairs of high-speed trains traveling between Haikou and Sanya. The earliest one starts off at 7:00 am from Haikou and the latest one at 22:05 pm. It takes around 2 hours for one-way journey. You can choose the one that meets your schedule. It departs from Haikou East Railway Station and arrives in Sanya Railway Station.

By Coach

There are a few buses leaving for Sanya from Haikou. It departs from Haikou East Bus Terminal and arrives in Sanya Bus Terminal. It takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes on the way.

By Car Rental
