About Kunming: Kunming is reputed as the 'Spring City'. It has a history of more than 2,400 years. Kunming used to be the gateway of the well-known South Silk Road which accessed to Tibet, Sichuan, Myanmar and India.

About Xishuangbanna: As one of the key tourism cities in China, Xishuangbanna is famous for its magnificent tropical rainforest scenery and traditional minority customs. Besides, its special geographical position – borders Laos and Burma, adjacent Thailand and Vietnam, made it the important access to Southeast and South Asia and the gateway of Yunnan Province opening to the outside world.
Xishuangbanna belongs to tropical rain forest climate, no intense heat of summer and severe cold winter, warm and pleasant all year round. Best time to travel is from October to next June.
Kunming - Xishuangbanna Flights
There are about 29 pairs of flights travelling between the two cities from 8:40 am to 22:35 in the evening. So there are many options for you to choose from. It takes about only 50 minutes for one way trip.
