Liuzhou Bailian Airport

Liuzhou Bailian Airport (ICAO: ZGZH; IATA: LZH) is located in Liujiang District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, 13 kilometers away from Liuzhou City. It is a 4D-class military-civilian airport. Named for its location near the historic site of ancient human activities in Bailian Cave. Liuzhou Bailian Airport is one of the seven major airports in Guangxi and an important regional airport.



 

As of September 2019, Liuzhou Bailian Airport has two terminals, namely T1 (suspended use), T2 (China domestic and international Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) totaling 22,800 square meters. There is a runway with a length of 2,540 meters. With 10 parking Spaces, it can meet the annual passenger throughput of 1.8 million person-times and cargo and mail throughput of 16,000 tons. As of March 2019, a total of 17 domestic routes have been opened, and 21 cities have been navigation.

History

In October 1992, Liuzhou Bailian airport held a ground-breaking ceremony. In November, Liuzhou Bailian airport officially started construction.
 

In December 1994, Liuzhou Bailian Airport was completed; on December 28, the first flight of Liuzhou Bailian airport was successful.
 

The first phase expansion project of Liuzhou Bailian Airport was officially started on April 25, 2015, and officially opened on December 20, 2016.
 

On August 6, 2018, the National Port Management Office of the People's Republic of China issued a letter agreeing that Chinese and foreign passenger charter flights temporarily entry and exit from Liuzhou Bailian Airport in Guangxi.
