You will be dropped off at the entrance of the temple. Then you can buy a admission ticket to get into. Departing times are from 05:30 to 12:30, about 30 minutes per bus.
If you miss the direct express, you can also hop on a coach that leaves for Xuanchang, which will pass by the entrance of Shaolin Temple. You can ask to get off there. It takes about 2 hours.
