Mount Everest, with its highest peak in the height of 29,035 feet (8848 meters) in the world, stands on the edge of western China quietly. Some one prefer to call it “Chomolangma” or “ Qomolangma” which means “Mother Goddess of the Earth” in Tibetan language. “Everest” is her European name which titled from British Superintendent General of the Survey of India 1830-1843, Sir George Everest.
