How to get to Detian Waterfall from Nanning? To get to Detian Waterfall from Nanning, there are two ways to visitors to choose from: a direct way and a transfer way.
→Option 1 Fengling Passenger Transport Station
Every day at 9:00 am, there is a tourist express bus at the Fengling Passenger Transport Station (凤岭客运站:next to Nanning East Railway Station). The whole journey takes the expressway and it takes 3.5 hours to reach the destination. But travel time is limited, bus returns to Nanning from the scenic spot at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
→Option 2 Nanning Langdong Bus Station
Everyday, there are 1 shuttle buses directly leaving for the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area from Nanning Langdong Bus Station (琅东客运站) in Nanning. And it usually departs at 9:00 am, and returning bus to Nanning is at 3:30 p.m. The journey takes about 3 hours. If you can’t catch up, one can take bus to Daxin bus station, and then take bus go back to Nanning city.
→Option 3 Nanning Bei Da Passenger Station
If you miss the direct buses, one can take the scheduled buses from Nanning Bei Da Passenger Station, which goes to Daxin County first and leaves every 20 minutes. After get off at bus station at Daxin County, you should transfer to a bus of the route "Daxin - Qilong - Detian" to arrive at Detian Waterfall. The whole journey takes about 3 hours.
How to get to Detian Waterfall from Nanning by car? You can book a private car via a travel agency. It often offers chartering car service with an experienced driver and a English-speaking tour guide. It would be more comfortable on the way and more flexible on departure time. ►Best time to visit
The spring and summer time is the best season to visit Detian Waterfall. In spring, the fiery-red kapoks peculiar to the south scatter around the waterfall, which makes it quite beautiful. In summer, because of the rainfall, the waterfall becomes more spectacular than usual time. The best time to visit Detian Waterfall is from June to November every year, during which time the water is large and the water quality is clear due to the rainfall season.
