Known as the hometown of Confusion, Qufu is a city located in the southwest of Shandong province, China. It is about 550 kilometers away from Beijing, the capital of China. Normally, there are a couple of ways from Beijing to Qufu: by bus or by train. High-speed train is time-saving and comfortable.
There are 14 pairs of high-speed train traveling from Beijing to Qufu or vice verse. The earliest one leaves at 8:00 am and latest one at 7:00 pm. It takes 2 to 2 and a half hour from Beijing to Qufu by high speed train. The trains depart from Beijing South Railway Station and arrive at Qufu East Railway Station.
There are only a few buses traveling from Beijing to Qufu. They depart from Zhaosongkou Bus Termial or Yongdingmen Bus Terminal in Beijing. Bus from Beijing to Qufu takes about 6 hours for one-way trip. It is not recommended to take bus, due to the waste of time but almost same cost with high-speed train. You can check with the bus schedule with the Bus Terminal or local travel agent.
There is no flights between direct flight between Beijing and Qufu. The nearest city to Beijing that has flights to Qufu is Tianjin. It costs one hour by air from Tianjin to Qufu.
