Zhouzhuang Water Town is a town in Jiangsu province, China. It is located within Kunshan county-level city, 30 km southeast of Suzhou. How to get to Zhouzhuang Water Town from Shanghai? The transportation between Zhouzhuang Water Town and Shanghai is quite convenient. There are a couple of ways you that you can get to Zhouzhuang from Shanghai for your consideration.
If you are going to Zhouzhuang from Shanghai, you can consider taking the Zan Bus to Zhouzhuang Scenic Area. The bus stop is at People’s Square Station (opposite the Radisson Hotel New World) and can be reached by subway lines 1, 2 and 8.
Besides the direct way, passengers are able to get to Qingpu first and then to get to Zhouzhuang. There are three sites from where you can take the bus to Qingpu: Jinling Dong Road, Yan'an Road, and Lao Chengdu Road near Shanghai People Square. After get off at Qingpu Bus Station, you should catch a connecting bus to get to Zhouzhuang at Qingpu Bus Station. The bus departs about every half an hour. And it take about 1 hour from Shanghai downtown to Qingpu, then takes about 1.5 hour from Qingpu to Zhouzhuang Water Town. The last bus returns to Qingpu from Zhouzhuang is at 4:00p.m. And the last bus returns from Qingpu to Shanghai is at 6:00p.m. and 7:15p.m.
Passengers can take bus at No.2 Gate of Hongkou Football Court, which is sited in 444 Dong Jiangwan Road, near Huayuan Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai. The bus usually departs from here at 8:00 am, 9:00 am and 10:00 am, then returns from Zhouzhuang at 3:00p.m. and 5:30p.m. The journey takes about 2 hour. The ticket price includes the tour guide fee and entrance fee of the town.
How to get to Zhouzhuang Water Town from Shanghai South Railway Station? To take bus from Shanghai South Long-distance Bus Station located at No. 666 Shilong Road, near Shanghai South Railway Station, passengers need to take Subway Line 1 or 3 to get to the railway station first. The bus leaves for Zhouzhuang Water Town at 8:00a.m. and 1:11p.m. every day. And it take about 1.5 hour to reach Zhouzhuang Bus Station.
Take direct bus from Shanghai Hongqiao Long Distance Bus Station located near the Hongqiao Airport to Jiangze, and then walk around 5 minute to the west gate of Zhouzhuang.
Take Tourism Bus from Shanghai Tourist Distribution Center located at Shanghai Stadium. The bus will depart at 7:00a.m., 8:30a.m., 9:05a.m., 12:10p.m., 2:00p.m. And the entrance fee of the town is usually included in the price. There will more than buses during holidays and festivals of China. The last returning bus from Zhouzhuang Water Town is at 4:30 p.m. If you do not want to stay overnight in Zhouzhuang, don’t miss it.
How to get to Zhouzhuang Water Town from Shanghai Huaqiao Railway Station? Take Shanghai Subway Line 11, get off at Huaqiao Station and then change Tourism Bus No.7 to get to Zhouzhuang Bus Station.
