Sichuan Tourism

Sichuan has the most world natural and cultural heritages and national key scenic spots in China. It has one cultural heritage, one natural and cultural dual heritage, nine national key scenic spot. China Sichuan's Jiuzhaigou National Scenic Area and Huanglong National Park were listed in the "World Heritage List" by the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization of the world heritage committee in 1992,

Sichuan attractions listed as key national scenic area are: the Leshan Giant Buddha, Mount Emei, Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, Huanglong, Jiuzhaigou, Jinyun Mountain, Mount Gongga etc...; classified as a national key cultural relics protection units are: the Leshan Giant Buddha, Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, Wuhou Temple, Sanxingdui Museum,etc...

In addition, there are 19 provincial scenic spots and 272 provincial cultural relics protection units, 17 protection zones of all kinds of rare animals, such as the giant panda, silver fir, etc...Furthermore, Sichuan has 11 national forest parks, 40 nature reserves. All these tourist attractions ranges from the lowland to mountain, canyon to basin, hills to plains, rivers to lakes, hot springs to waterfall; from karst area to Danxia landform, from soup to nuts.
