How to Get to Huangshan from Wuhan

Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province, located in the center of China. This city is one of the transport hubs in this country.

Huangshan is located in south of Anhui Province, near to Shanghai (1 hour by air). The distance between Wuhan and Huangshan is about 550 km. There are no direct trains or flights traveling between the two cities now. So you need transfer from other places. Here TCT would like to offer some info about how to get to Huangshan from Wuhan. By Air

There is no direct flight from Wuhan to Huangshan so far. You need transfer via other city like Shanghai. There are many flights traveling between Wuhan and Shanghai. After you arrival in Shanghai, you can either have one or two days there first, then travel to Huangshan from Shanghai. There are one or two flights from Shanghai to Huangshan in tourist low season, maybe more in high season.

By Train

There is no direct train from Wuhan to Huangshan as well. One can take high-speed train from Wuhan to Hefei first, the transfer to train or coach there to get to Huangshan. High-speed train from Wuhan to Hefei takes about two and a half hours. Train from Hefei to Huangshan takes at least six hour and 38 minutes. And coach from Hefei to Huangshan takes about 4 hours.

By Long-distance Coach

There are direct coaches traveling from Wuhan to Huangshan. It departs from Fujiapo Bus Terminal (Add: 358 Wuluo Road, Wuhan, Hubei) or Jinjiadun Bus Terminal (Add: 170 Fa Zhan Ave., Hankou District, Wuhan). It takes about 9 hours to get to Tangkou town in Huangshan.

By Renting a Car (Recommended)
