Xinjiang is world-famous musical township and fruit township. Xinjiang is famous for its massive land, vast territory and abundant resources, magnificent mountains and rivers, the vast boundless, sites throughout all the land, numerous nationalities and singular folk customs. Xinjiang tourism resource is rich. There are 68 species of the national tourism resourcess, among which, Xinjiang occupies 56 species, accounting for 83% of the national tourism resource types. There are more than 1100 tourist spots in Xinjiang, which ranks the first in China.

In this vast land, there are ice snow ridge and gobi desert, plateau landscape, numerous mountains and grand peak, cliffside spring and waterfalls, rare animals and birds. The world's second peak which is 8600 meters above sea level also can be found here; and Chinese minimum depression which is 154 metres below sea level can be seen here.

Xinjiang tourism resources are rich and colorful; and its natural landscape is strange, its climate is ecological and divers. The famous natural sceneries in Xinjiang include the Tianchi Lake, Bosten Lake, Karakul Lake, Bayibuluke Grasslands, Flaming Mountains, etc...Xinjiang's historical heritage is also numerous, such as the Jiaohe Ancient City, Gaochang Ancient City, Loulan Ruins, Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, Emin Minaret; all of them are well known at home and abroad. In addition, Xinjiang has a famous reputation of singing and dancing township with its unique ethnic customs.
