Zhangye is assessable by air, bus and train. The transportation in Zhangye is more convenient than it used to be.
By Air
To get to Zhangye, you can fly directly to Zhangye Airport, but the flights are less, and it is combined military and civilian airport.
Zhangye Ganzhou Airport
Located 24 km at the southwest direction of Zhangye City, Zhangye Ganzhou Airport is a civil and military airport. Now, there are only flights to Lanzhou, Xian and Chongqing.

Airport Shuttle Bus: 20 Yuan/per person
Tips: if you buy air ticket at Power Building or Civil Aviation Gansu Airport Group, zhangye ticketing center, you can take free shuttle bus to the airport with the itinerary.
By Train
You can take the train directly to Zhangye Railway Station. The station is close to the downtown, very convenient.
Zhangye Railway Station
Zhangye railway station is located at northeast of downtown, about 8 km from the downtown area.
Taking a taxi to the train station from the city costs about 15 Yuan.

By Highway
There are totally 22 roads in Zhangye. Ganxin Road and Ganqing Road are the main roads. National Road 312 and 227 all pass Zhangya.

Also called the Guanxi Bus Station, it is the main bus station is Zhangye. The main route is to Yinchuan, Xining, Urumqi.
