Fengdu Road Pedestrian Street in Shaoguan, Guangdong

Shaoguan Fengdu Road Pedestrian Street is the most prosperous commercial pedestrian street in northern Guangdong, and also the core business district of Shaoguan City. It is located in the center of Shaoguan City, between Jiefang Road and Fengcai Road, with a total length of about 800 meters. 

Along the street, there are still some old arcade buildings that reflect the history and culture of Shaoguan. The pedestrian street has various large-scale and professional shopping centers, such as Fengdu Plaza, Guomin Commercial City, Decheng Commercial Plaza, etc., selling clothing, footwear, sports brands, digital appliances, gold and silver jewelry, food, local specialties, medicinal materials, etc. The products are dazzling and everything is available. The pedestrian street also has various restaurants such as McDonald's, KFC, etc., as well as entertainment venues such as Lemandi Game Experience Center and Mobile Suit Arcade Center, allowing you to enjoy food and entertainment after shopping.

Fengdu Road was named after Zhang Jiuling, a famous minister of the Tang Dynasty, to commemorate his achievements. The two words "Fengdu" are derived from a sentence of Emperor Tang Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty: "Is Fengdu like Jiuling?" Fengdu Pedestrian Street sells various products, including clothing, hardware appliances, gold and silver jewelry, food, local specialties and medicinal materials, etc. They are dazzling and everything is available. 

There are also large-scale professional shopping centers, such as Donggu Street, Luyu Tea House, Electric Street and Fengdu Plaza Telecommunication Equipment Center. Donggu Street mainly sells high-quality local specialties from northern Guangdong. When night falls, the place is crowded and lively. Therefore, foreign tourists who come to Shaoguan for relaxing and shopping will choose to come to this pedestrian street. 

The north side of the pedestrian street is Fengcai Road and Fengcailou（风采楼）, which were built to commemorate Yu Jing, a famous remonstrant of the Northern Song Dynasty. The current Fengcailou has become one of the iconic ancient buildings in Shaoguan City.
