Yingxi Fenglin Corridor scenic area features thousands of limestone peaks, caves, streams, ancient buildings, and rural landscapes. It's a natural and cultural attraction in Guangdong province. The corridor is located in the southwest of Yingde city, about 60 kilometers from the city center, and covers an area of more than 20 kilometers. It is one of the longest and densest karst landscapes in Guangdong, and has been compared to Guilin for its beauty and charm.
Yingxi Fenglin Corridor has many scenic spots, the most popular ones are Qianjun Fenglin, Gongzheng Xi Cun Fenglin, and Pengjia Ci.
Qianjun Fenglin (Thousand Army Peaks Forest), is a group of limestone peaks that are arranged in a linear pattern, and all lean towards the east. The peaks look like a formation of soldiers ready to charge, hence the name. The peaks are located in the villages of Zhaibei and Dabo, about 2 kilometers southwest of Jiulong Town. You can drive to the town and then walk to the peaks, or take a bus from Yingde City. Qianjun Fenglin is one of the most spectacular and unique landscapes in the corridor, and is a must-see for photography lovers and nature enthusiasts. You can enjoy the views of the peaks from different angles, and use your imagination to find different images and stories in them. Gongzheng Xi Cun Fenglin(Gongzheng and Xi Villages Peaks Forest) is another group of limestone peak that are located along the line of Gongzheng and Xi Villages, about 6 kilometers northwest of Huanghua Town. The peaks here are more diverse in shape, and are surrounded by streams and rivers. Gongzheng Xi Cun Fenglin is a perfect place to experience the rural life and culture of the corridor, and to appreciate the harmony between man and nature. You can visit the ancient villages, temples, bridges, and pavilions that are scattered among the peaks, and learn about the history and customs of the local people. Pengjia Ci(Peng Family Ancestral Hall) is an ancient building that was built in the mid-Qing Dynasty, and is located on the Luoshan Mountain in the Kengba Village of Huanghua Town. The building is built along the mountain slope, and has four floors and a total of 72 rooms. It is a defensive fortress that was built by the Peng clan to resist the bandits. The building is well-preserved, and has a majestic and solemn appearance. Pengjia Ci is a rare and valuable example of the architectural style and art of the Qing Dynasty, and is a witness to the history and glory of the Peng clan. You can climb to the top of the building and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding peaks forest, or explore the rooms and halls that display the relics and paintings of the Peng clan.
Laohu Gu Piaoliu(Tiger Valley Rafting) is a rubber rafting activity that is located in the north of Huanghua Town. It is the only rafting in the country that passes through a cave, and is known for its thrilling and exciting experience. The rafting is about 5 kilometers long, and has a drop of 90 meters. The rafting passes through a cave that is 800 meters long, and is filled with various stalactites that sparkle under the lights. The cave is like a fairyland, and contrasts with the rapids and rocks outside. Laohu Gu Piaoliu is a challenge and a reward for the senses, and is suitable for adventurous and energetic people. You can feel the adrenaline rush and the fun of the rafting, and also admire the beauty and mystery of the cave.

The best time to visit the corridor is from April to October, when the weather is pleasant, the vegetation is lush, and the water is abundant. You can also visit the corridor in other seasons, but be prepared for the changes in temperature and rainfall.
How to get there:
The easiest way to get to the corridor is by driving or taking a bus from Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong province.
Method one: Take a direct bus from the Luochongwei Passenger Station in Guangzhou to Jiulong Town, the center of the corridor. The bus runs twice a day, at 10:40 am and 4:30 pm, and takes about 3 hours.
Method two: Take a bus from Guangzhou to Yingde City, and then transfer to a bus or a minibus to Jiulong Town. The buses from Guangzhou to Yingde run frequently, and take about 2 hours. The buses or minibuses from Yingde to Jiulong run every 30 minutes, and take about an hour. Once you arrive at Jiulong Town, you can take a taxi or a minibus to the scenic spots you want to visit.
