The most relaxing trip to Huangshan, the most famous mountain in China

Mount Huangshan, reputed as the most famous mountain in China, has been praised by thousands of poets, painters, and photographers. For her fame, I caught my holiday period to see the beauty of her. I supposed it was the most relaxing trip to Huangshan because of the unspeakable charms.

This trip to Huangshan also covered a visit the Hongcun, which was famous for its Chinese Hui style architectures. What is a Hui style architecture? Simply to explain, the scenes and the architectures which are always painted in Chinese paintings are the traditional Chinese Hui style.

Trip to Hongcun Village
The very original impression of Hongcun can be described in two words - elegant and quiet. The Hui style scenery was more beautiful with the reflection in the lake. Went across a small arch bridge, we entered into a painting room. A little difference from the buildings in Xidi Village, the buildings here were decorated with a comparative exquisite wooden carvings. The largest house which was once belonged to the richest businessman now had been turned into a small exhibition site. From the amin hall to the bedrooms, the most special thing would be the elegant carved doors, windows, pillars, etc. One of the pillars was carved about 36 people in different postures, AMAZING!

The lake in the central village was called “Shui Zhao”. It was the main water supplement to villagers here. Although the name of this lake was strange for most people, the scene here was familiar for fans of the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.







Trip to Huangshan
After a short visit to Hongcun, we continued to our main destination Mt. Huangshan. We chose the Yugu Temple Cable way because this route ensured both the highlight scenery of Mt. Huangshan and the moderate physical output。

Climbed from Shixin Peak and the to the Bright Summit. Bright Summit, the second highest peak in Huangsh which could be climbed up easily, with a sea level of 1,860 meters. After appreciated the great scenery on the summit, we continued our Huangshan itinerary. 






May be the fine day could be a depressed thing if you had interested in the Cloud Sea in Huangshan. The sunshine and the blue sky made the Cloud Sea disappeared totally. And the Mt. Huangshan lost some mistery taste in this weather. While another taste of Huangshan appeared - relaxing. 








We arrived in the site of Guest-Greeting Pine and planned to take the Yuping Cable way to get down the mountain. Before taking the cable way, I left a love lock under the Guest-Greeting Pine. It was a must-do thing in Mt. Huangshan, for couple, it was more like a ceremony to tell the world how they can love each other deeply. 

Although it is a short visit to Mt, Huangshan, I decided to pay a second visit for it definitely.
