O

China tour for the first time for 12-13 days from 8/5/11

Dear Ok Ro Hong,

Thanks a lot for visiting our website and interested in our service, my name is Maggie Qin, one of the travel advisors at Top China Travel, I am happy to assist you planning your trip to China in the coming Aug.

Based on what I known for your trip requirements, I just worked out a 12 days tour based on arriving Beijing on Aug05 and depart Shanghai on Aug16 which covered Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin, Yangshuo and Shanghai.

I included only one special cuisine in the trip, that’s Peking Roast Duck in Beijing, as it’s quite famous and I suggest you not to miss it.

Great Wall is a miracle in China which is must visit place, I recommended you to visit Mutianyu Great Wall but not Badaling Great Wall, because Mutianyu Great Wall is around 1 hour by private car from downtown Beijing, on the way you could visit some villages and Mutianyu Great Wall is more original comparing with Badaling Great Wall. The Wall is elder than Badaling section. I think it would be a more real Great Wall in your heart when stand on it.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a famous site in Xian, but frankly, not too much visitors interested in it, there is not too much to see inside, but the archecture of the pagoda is fantastic, therefore I suggest you to visit it from outside but not enter it, it could help you to save the entrance fee but also not miss it.

The hotels I included in the itinerary are all centrally located hotels with easy access (17:45)
to the city Center. Different location hotels have great difference in price although all they are same category. Because you would have more free time in the evening, therefore I suggest you to choose the centrally located hotels which you could also visit around by yourselves. I recommended you two options for the hotel combination, and the option02 is better and the price is also more expensive. So it depends on your choice. I just provided you more alternatives.

I only included the lunches in my proposal because I would like to give you more flexibility to choose the better food and try in China. China cuisine is very famous in the world, but normally the tourist meal would be arranged in the tourist restaurant. They make the food like assembly line, no characteristic. But their price is moderate. If you would like to try better food in some nice restaurants, I recommended you to pay US$60/per person as extra cost to have food in the local citizen’s restaurant. The taste of the food is better there, and the environment is also nicer than tourist restaurant. The most important thing is, you could advise our guide what kind of food do you like to have for this meal, he or she would help you to order your interested food, if there is anything over the budget, you just pay the extra on spot. I think it would give you deeper impression for the food in China if you have flexibility in choosing the food but not set menu.

A preliminary quotati (17:45)
on with a suggested itinerary is attached to this email, please let me know if you have other interests you'd like to include, or if I have missed any of your stated requirements; I would welcome the opportunity to ensure that your itinerary is exactly what you want.
Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards
