I'm going to Chengdu from 20 - 24 Dec 2011. I have not make ground arangement for the holiday. I'm a muslim going with family total of 4. Can you propose itinerary & its cost related. Tq

Day 1 Dec11

Chengdu
Pick up you from the hotel lobby. Today, you’ll take an exploration to Sanxingdui Museum and Chendu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. In the evening, you can appreciate the Sichuan Opera for your night activity.
Meals: Lunch

Sanxingdui Museum is the place where you can learn about the culture that existed between 2,800 and 800 BC. The museum houses ancient remains including bronze wares, jade and stone objects, gold articles, pottery and bone objects excavated near present city of Guanghan, a famous historic and cultural city 40km from Chengdu in the south.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the world-famous Panda breeding research located about 10km (6 miles) out of the city. This institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda and is dedicated to preserving and increasing their population. Visitors are able to hold lovely pandas and be photographed with them.

Sichuan Opera is staged in a local tea house, so during the show you may enjoy tea and snacks. There are folk music, opera, solo music, some comedy, amazing acrobatics, shadow puppets, intriguing face changing and spectacular fire eating. You’ll be enthused by colorful costumes, sounds of traditional music and charmed by the shadow play.

Day 2 Dec12

Chengdu

Today you will have a city tour that covering the visit to Thatched Cottage of Dufu, Wuhou Temple and Wangjiang Park.

Thatched Cottage of Dufu is a beautiful garden and museum to honor Du Fu, one of the greatest Chinese poets of all times. Along with Li Po, he is frequently called the greatest of the Chinese poets. In 760 Du arrived in Chengdu, where he based himself for most of the next five years. He wrote more than 240 poems at this cottage.

Located in the southern suburb of Chengdu, Wuhou Temple was first built in 265 during the Western Jin Dynasty in memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister in charge of the Kingdom of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280). It is the largest museum of the site left over from the Three Kingdoms Period, and a very quiet oasis in the city.

Located in Chengdu City, Wangjiang Park sits on 120,000 square meters lush willows and bamboo along the bank of the Jin River. You can stroll along the path to the pavilion built in memory of Xue Tao, a famous female poet of the Tang Dynasty.


Total Land Cost:

US$245 per person

Note: the rate is for the minimum group of 2 pax or above.

Price Includes:

1) Private transfers between hotels and all sightseeing spots. Any separate transfer will incur extra charges.

2) Meals (Chinese lunch served at local restaurant) as specified in the itinerary.

3) One driver and one English-speaking guide on normal sightseeing activities in each destination.

4) All entrance fees to scenic spots as shown in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TopChinaTravel. TCT will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.

Price Excludes:

1) Round way International airfare or train tickets.

2) Visa fee, passport application or renewal fee.

3) Tips for guides, escort, drives, bellboys, etc.

4) Personal expenses such as excess luggage fees, laundry, postage, communications and beverages.

5) Optional meals and shows mentioned in the itinerary, which will be added up if the clients desire to take the activities.

6) Applicable taxes or government fees or bank handling fees

7) Any other changes caused by the acts of God, natural disasters, fires, weather, governmental and local authority orders, political change, strikes, war, riots, quarantine, custom regulations, damages or injury caused by accident beyond the control of TopChinaTravel and that has incurred due to the tourist action violating the laws.

8) Any items not specified in the plan.
