Fill Out the Application form and Make an Appointment Online
When applying for a visa, please pay attention to fill out the form online and make an appointment online.
1) Since July 1, 2018, the Chinese Embassy officially launched the electronic visa application form and online reservation system. Applicants must submit a Chinese visa application online appointment certificate when they come to the Embassy.
2) All visa applicants (including those who hold diplomatic and official passports) should fill out the form online. Applicants can enter personal information according to the Online Filling Instructions displayed on the website. Please print the confirmation page and the "Electronic Visa Application Form" after completion and sign the confirmation page.
If the applicant only applies for a visa to Hong Kong and Macau, then you do not need to use the online form and appointment system, but still fill in the current Hong Kong and Macao visa application form to apply for a visa at the embassy. If the applicant applies for a visa to mainland China and to Hong Kong and Macau, you must use the online form and appointment system.
3) After completing the online application form, please complete the online appointment, and bring the necessary application materials to the Consular Section of the Embassy to apply for the corresponding type of visa.
4)From July 1st to 31st, 2018, applicants can still use the old paper visa application form to apply for a visa. After August 1, 2018, applicants must fill out the form online and apply for a visa according to the online appointment time. The embassy no longer accepts the old visa application form.
