Here is a brief exit regulation introduction for international tourists who will depart China by international flights to other countries. Details as following:
The Regular China Exit Process
1) Have your luggage checked (but don't check your valuables). Exchange your boarding pass.
Please be noted that check-in counter will usually be closed 45 minutes before flight departure.
2) Go to the clearance counter and line up
3) For border inspection, please show your passport and boarding pass at the border counter
4) For safety inspection, please check the liquid and dangerous goods in advance
5) Head to the boarding gate
6) wait in the departure lounge and get boarding
China Exit Requirements
Documents Should Be Prepare for Exiting:
► Valid passport with valid visa
► Necessary item declaration form
*On leaving China, tourists must again submit the baggage declaration form for customs inspection (the second copy). Travelers by ship are exempted.
► Departure Card (this card may be got during your flying period instead of in the airport)
The following articles are prohibited to bring out of China (neither in checked nor carry-on luggage):
► Arms, ammunition, and explosives of all kinds
► Radio transmitters-receivers and principal parts
► Renminbi (Chinese currency) in cash and negotiable securities in RMB
► Unratified foreign currency, foreign notes or drafts
► Manuscripts, printed matter, films, photographs, gramophone records, cinematographic films, loaded recording tapes and videotapes, etc. which are detrimental to China’s national security
► Rare and precious copies of books about Chinese revolution, history, culture and art that are not for sale
► Valuable animals, plants and seeds
► Precious metals, pearls, and jewels (Things declared to the customs are exempted)
► Other articles the export of which is prohibited by state regulations

How about the overweight charge for international flight?
A: The overweight charge standard is based on regulation of airline separately. It is better to ensure the standard by yourself because some airlines may charge high price if your baggage is overweight.
China Exit International Flight Liquid Restriction
For travellers who will take international flight from China or transmit flight in China, the liquid restriction will be in the following:
1. Liquid items which can be put in carry-on luggage are needed to be packed into containers within 100ML capacity separately. If the container with a capacity over 100Ml, even it is not filled up, the container should be packed into checked luggage as well.
2. All the containers should be packed into a sealed transparent plastic bag. The capacity of the bag should be within 1L and well sealed. Each passenger only can carry 1 plastic bag in carry-on luggage.
3. The plastic bag should be checked separately at the checking point
4. The liquid items which purchased in airport departure lounge area can be carried on the flight

A: Duty-free liquid items can be carried on the flight. Aiming to ensure a smoothly transmit procedure, it is better to keep your boarding card, the invoice or receipt from the duty-free shops and the package of the liquid items (the sealed transparent plastic bag) well.
