2. Entry Ports: Entry is possible through all of Hainan's international ports. (Haikou Meilan Airport, Sanya Phoenix Airport, Yangpu Port, Haikou Port, Qinglan Port, Basuo Port, Sanya Port, and the temporary opening period of Qionghai Boao Airport)
  
3. Stay Duration: The visa-free stay is for 30 days, starting from midnight on the second day after entry.

4. Activity Scope: Limited to the administrative region of Hainan Province.

5. Purpose: Applicable for tourism, business, visits, family reunions, medical treatment, exhibitions, sports competitions, etc., excluding work and study purposes.

Procedure and Steps for Visa-Free Entry

To apply for Hainan's 30-day visa-free entry, you can follow these steps:

1. Confirm Eligibility: First, confirm whether your nationality is on the list of 59 visa-exempt countries.

2. Plan Your Itinerary: Plan your itinerary in Hainan, including round-trip tickets and hotel reservations.

3. Contact a Travel Agency: It is recommended to submit your personal information, including passport details, flight tickets, and hotel reservation information, through a local travel agency in Hainan at least 48 hours in advance.

4. Enter Hainan: Enter through one of Hainan's international ports, such as Haikou Meilan Airport or Sanya Phoenix Airport.

5. Accommodation Registration: If you are staying in a hotel in Hainan Province, you should provide your passport for accommodation registration. If staying at a residence other than a hotel, you or the host must register with the local police within 24 hours of your stay.

5. Enjoy Your Trip: During your stay in Hainan, you can vacation on the beautiful beaches of Sanya, as well as appreciate the old arcade streets in Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainan, taste local delicacies, and purchase souvenirs.

Tips

• If you find that there are no direct flights to Hainan from your departure location when purchasing tickets, it is recommended to depart or transit from Hong Kong or other countries/regions with direct flights to Hainan, and then use the visa-free policy to enter Hainan.
• If you wish to extend your stay in Hainan beyond the 30-day limit or travel to other areas within China, you must apply for a visa document with the public security bureau’s exit-entry administration department at least 7 working days in advance.
• While staying in China, you must not engage in activities that do not correspond to the reasons for your stay and should leave the country before the expiration of the stipulated stay period.
