Sand Lake Tourist Area (Chinese name: 沙湖风景区), lies 56 kilometers away from the northwest of Yinchuan, bordered on the east by the Yellow River, and on the west by the Helan Mountain, is really a great mixture of desert and water.

The basic cost of Sand Lake is made up of a combination of entrance fees and ferry tickets. You must take a boat to enter the core area and the project play area.

Entrance Fees:

Peak-season tickets: 60 yuan (April 1 – October 31)

Off-season tickets: 40 yuan (November 1 - March 31)

Opening Hours: 8:00-18:00 （Spring to Summer）

8:30-17:30  (Autumn to Winter)

Ferry Tickets

There are two kinds of tour routes: straight line and bird island line. The international bird watching festival held every year makes bird island line become the excellent tour route to visit the sand lake.

Big ship straight line: 70 yuan

speed boat straight line: 150 yuan

Yacht bird island 200 yuan

Oar boat island 150 yuan
