How to Arrange A Visa-Free Trip to China

Mutual Visa-Free Policy

Currently, China has executed mutual visa free agreements with 25 foreign countries including Fiji, Thailand, Singapore, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Antigua and Barbuda, Albania, United Arab Emirates, Barbados, Bahamas, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dominica, Ecuador, Grenada, Qatar, Mauritius, Serbia, Seychelles, San Marino, Suriname, Tonga, Armenia, Georgia and Solomon Islands(effective after both countries have completed relevant domestic legal procedures). Passport holders from these 25 countries can enter China for visa-free and stay in China for less than 30 days.


 

30-Day Visa-Free Policy

China is also implementing a unilateral visa-free policy for 38 foreign countries. Passport holders from these 38 countries can enter China without a need to apply for a visa for the purposes of business, tourism, family visits, exchanges and visits and transit, with stays of no more than 30 days.

240-hour Visa-Free Entry Policy

From Dec, 17th, 2024, 72-hour and 144-hour visa-free entry policy are extended to 240 hours(10 days) to some certain countries from Europe, America, Oceania and Asia. Foreign nationals entering China through the visa-free transit policy can make cross-province travels within the allowed areas for visa-free transit travelers in these 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).

Europe: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom

America: the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico

Oceania: New Zealand, Australia

Asia: the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar
