How to purchase the train ticket for 2nd class seat G651 7:05 am, departure from Beijing to Xian in advance .We are four people.

Well noted that you are 4 person and hope to buy high speed train tickets from Beijing to Xian.

At first, please kindly be advised that train tickets are requested to issued 20 days prior to the arrival date in China. For those places which have less train between cities, it is better to book early and issue the tickets as the requirement.

Regarding to your requests, we have 2 pieces of suggestion,
1) Book it through travel agency. The problem is that travel agency will charge handling fee. If you do not have time to pick up from travel agency’s office in Beijing, you could request them to deliver it to your hotel, but extra delivery fee will be charged. You need to offer your passport copy to travel agency, your travel date and what class seat you would like to stay. You will also need to prepay to the travel agency.

2) Buy the tickets on the morning when you take the train. You could arrive at Beijing West Railway Station around 1-1.5 hours earlier than the departure time and buy the tickets with your passport directly. Or if you have several days in Beijing before going to Xian, you could buy it before your departure date. As you know, there are many high speed trains each day from Beijing to Xian and your train is in the early morning, generally speaking, the tickets for 2nd seat are available before the train departs.
