Well noted that you will go to Yangshuo for Taiji training. I wonder whether you come to China only for Taiji training in Yangshuo or traveling to China and have a Taiji trainning in Yangshuo. To be honest, if only for Taiji training, it is not worth cost that much airfare. If you come to China for tour with a Taiji training, it is recommended.

Please kindly be advised that there isn't direct flight from Mexico City from Guilin. Therefore, you need to transit flight from other cities.

At first, you need to fly to USA, such as Chicago, New York, San Francisco, ect to change a flight to Hong Kong. Then also change flight from Hong Kong to Guilin.

If you have other China tours, it is better for you to fly to Beijing as your first stop. Then departure from Hong Kong.
