Hello! I am planning to travel to Longji Rice Terraces and wanna stay for one night there. Any idea on where to stay in Longji? Which villages to stay? Thank you!

The Longji Rice Terraces are composed of two separate but closely located areas: the Ping'An terrace fields and the JinKeng terrace fields, each with their own villages and hamlets within easy walking distance. Ping'An terrace fields consist of Ping'An village and two smaller hamlets. It is an inhabited area for Zhuang minority. While JinKeng terrace fields consists of DaZhai village, as well as 5 smaller hamlets around it, including TianTou village higher up the mountain. JinKeng is inhabited predominantly or completely by Yao minority.

Although most tourists come here on one day trip, it is a very beautiful place that worths staying for one night or two at either one of the villages. Normally, visitors who want to sleep here would like to stay in Ping'An Village or Dazai Village. One can also stay in the hamlets around them, but the condition in hamlets is not so good as in Ping'An or Dazai and is more rural.

It is recommended to stay Ping'An or Dazai. Ping'An is the more popular village with direct road access. In our scenic spot area most of the guest houses are at the similar conditions and similar price. The important difference is the locations. At high altitude you can enjoy more beautiful view. There are hotels and lodging with panoramic views of the rice terraces.

In Ping'An
Longji One Hotel: Newly built hotel (early 2009) with big windows and great views, very nice rooms and restaurant. Internet access (free wifi), air-conditioning.

Longji Pingan Hotel: With a best view to the Longji Terrace Rice Field, Longji Pingan Hotel is a good choice for you to accommodate in Longsheng. As one of the best well-equipped hotel, Longji Pingan Hotel has already entertained thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Longji Starwish Resort: one of the best hotels to stay at while in town. This 3-star property offers travelers a choice of 21 pleasant rooms that are equipped with the standard amenities of hotels in its class.

In Dazhai
Wisdom Inn: it is a family-run guesthouse with good accommodation (private bathroom), restaurant, Wi-Fi internet in whole house, home-made bread and yoghurt, English speaking. Staff here is very friendly.

You can either book the hotel in advance or upon your arrival there. but in busy season, it is highly recommended to make the reservation in advance, in case that the hotel or hostel is full.
