Dear Tony,
Thank you very much for your attention with the above questions.
Now lets look at each part of Great Wall in Beijing as below,
Juyongguan Great Wall--- It is almost at the foot of the mountain. Therefore, when people visit, do not need cable car, but climb up to the higher part of the Great Wall. The view of the great wall is from an angle of looking upwards. Many domestic visitors go to this part
Badaling Great Wall--- This part is the most famous one and was open for tourists earliest. It is on the slop of mountain. When you visit it, you might need to take cable car up to the wall or you climb up from foot to the wall. It depends on your energy. The view of this part great wall looks beautiful. However, many visitor from all over the world visit to this part. You will feel crowded when you visit there anytime.
Mutianyu Great Wall--- It is a bit farther from Beijing Downtown than the above 2 parts. Since it was developed later and it is farther, fewer passengers visit to this part. Therefore, it is less crowded. In this case, you could take good pictures of Great Wall. This part is also on the mountain, therefore, cable car is necessary. The view of this part is good and with more plants on the mountain. We genereally suggest our clients visit to this part. If you are a person who likes hiking, you could try to trek from Mutianyu to Gubeikou, to explore different view of Great Wall.
Jinsanling and Simatai Great Wall---Both parts are connecting each other and far from Beijing downtown. It is suitalble for those clients who want to explore more original Great Wall. Currently, Simatai is closed. Therefore, if you trek from Jinsanling to Simatai, it is impossible, but only treking from Jinsanling to and back to Jinsanling.
Hope the above is clear and helpful for you decide which one to visit.
