Railway
1.Huangshan North Railway Station
Been set to service in 2015, Huangshan North Train Station is a reasonable new high speed station with modern and fresh facilities equipped. Located 10 kilometers north to the city centre, it is a 30 minutes journey by taxi. Huangshan North Train Station by far has high speed trains heading to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Zhengzhou, Hefei and Xuzhou.
2.Huangshan Railway Station
Anhui-Jiangxi railway line runs through the whole territory of Huangshan City. Huangshan has a few train numbers directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Nanjing, Hefei, Jingdezhen, Nanchang, Xiamen, Yingtan, Fuzhou, etc. Tourists who come from the southern provinces can choose to change trains in Yingtan or Hangzhou to Huangshan; while for tourists who come from the northern provinces to Huangshan, Nanjing is the best transit depot.
Highway
Huangshan Inter-city bus station is just right across the road to the railway station with 8-10 minutes reach by walking. Hui-Hang Expressway has been officially opened to traffic in 2004 which make the mileage from Huangshan to Hangzhou shortened to 4 hours. The Hefei - Tongling - Jiuhua - Huangshan Expressway, Huangshan - Jingdezhen Expressway, Ring Huangshan Expressway are Huangshan important transport links. Huangshan Motor Station has minibuses destined for Shanghai which spend 8 or 9 hours. In addition, the motor station has long-distance buses from Huangshan Scenic Area directly to Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Huzhou, Hefei, Huainan, Bengbu, Ma'anshan, Wuhu, Anqing, Tongling, Jiuhuashan, Shexian Jingdezhen, Jiujiang, etc.
Bus
Huangshan city has 13 bus lines, the fares are mostly 1 yuan. There is no direct bus lines from the urban area to the Huangshan Scenic Area.
Taxi
The starting price of taxi in Huangshan city is 5 Yuan inside 3 km and additional 1.5 yuan / km beyond 3 km. You can take a taxi from the train station to Tunxi Street which just spend you 6 or 7 minutes. The fares of the taxi in the city usually are usually not more than 12 Yuan.
