With 6 platforms under conduction, Xiamen North Railway Station is the second largest railway station in Xiamen which was opened for service on April 26, 2010. It is located in Houxi Town, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is 10 km from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, 20 km to the city downtown. Its building has three floors. The first floor is for passenger arrivals, the second for departures and the third for food and beverage services.
